About the Yolanda Fund

The Yolanda Fund believes that every girl & boy should have the chance to go to school.  Our vision is to make education available to all in Haiti.  Our team is led by Haitians living right in the community where we work:  Carrefour, a heavily populated commune just west of Port au Prince.  In this tight-knit and economically disadvantaged community, school can be life-saving.  School provides a safe space for children to play and learn and the chance to eat a good meal.

The Yolanda Fund partners with schools in the community that are doing everything they can to give children a quality education and a safe space to learn.  Your donations help by supplementing tuition and providing school supplies and textbooks for children in need.  We are a small,  grassroots organization and rely on the generous support of our donors.

100% of donations go directly to Haiti because private donors cover all administrative costs, to ensure that your money goes to where it is needed most.

Our Mission

The Yolanda Fund is dedicated to empowering vulnerable and at-risk children and their families by supporting education and providing resources for a community in Carrefour, Haiti.
